Hosted by the West African Aedes Surveillance Network (WAASuN)
Praia, Cabo Verde
The West African Aedes Surveillance Network (WAASuN) is pleased to announce a Call for Abstracts for its upcoming International Conference on Arboviruses, to be held in the vibrant city of Praia, Cabo Verde.
Under the compelling theme:
“Strengthening Aedes Surveillance in a Changing Climate: Innovations, Intelligence, and Integrated Action”
the conference will convene researchers, public health practitioners, policymakers, entomologists, epidemiologists, laboratory scientists, climate experts, and community stakeholders from across the globe to address one of the most urgent vector-borne disease challenges of our time.
As climate change, rapid urbanisation, and increasing global mobility reshape the epidemiology of arboviral diseases, strengthening Aedes surveillance systems has never been more critical. This conference provides a platform to share cutting-edge research, innovative tools, operational experiences, and policy-relevant insights that can drive coordinated regional and global responses.
